Congratulations to our newest group of Mental Health First Aiders!

Eleven wonderful performing arts workers including actors, agents, arts managers, and technicians recently completed accredited Mental Health First Aid training.

Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, or who is in a mental health crisis (for example, the person is suicidal or has had a traumatic experience). Like physical first aid, mental health first aid is given until the person receives professional help or until the crisis resolves.

The group completed an intensive two-day training session in August 2019, which enables them to become accredited Mental Health First Aiders.

Congratulations everyone!
