Kathy is a trained theatre actor, and still tears up with joy at the end of every live show she watches. ‘I know myself how much of your heart and soul you put into that process’.
Mental health has always been a passion of Kathy’s, but she was formally drawn towards it during COVID. After becoming involved in the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) Wellness Committee, Kathy realised she wanted to be able to support her colleagues. As well as studying mental health at Swinburne University, she also brings a unique perspective as an Equity Delegate for MEAA.
Kathy adores sunflowers; “They give me so much joy, but they are also the international symbol for hidden disabilities. I find that so special.”
